The Ministry “Amazing Meanings of the Typological Gospel in Revelation” (S.A.E.T.A.) is a service for the study and dissemination of the biblical typologies of Daniel and Revelation. Promoted by Gustavo Contreras (Master in Theology, Latin American Adventist Seminary of Theology, Argentina, 1996), this work presents typological, prophetic and spiritual studies, extracted from both books. The purpose of this is to raise awareness of the next outcome of things with the consequent return of Jesus Christ to earth.
This page seeks to share various themes about Daniel and Revelation, particularly the Three Angels’ Message of Revelation 14:6-12 (which, like arrows [compare Jeremiah 50:14], are directed mostly against spiritual Babylon), as well as typological reflections that the author develops from the various types (biblical models) contained in the ‘everlasting gospel’ of Revelation (14:6), that is, the following three typologies:
(1) The ‘binary government typology’ (King [God] / Priest [Christ] versus state [king] / church [priest]), according to the book of Daniel and Revelation 17,
(2) the ‘typology of the priestly ministry’ (this is, the heavenly Sanctuary and priesthood contrasted in light of the earthly sanctuary and priesthood), a typology revealed in Daniel 7-9, Revelation 1-11, and the book of Hebrews, and
(3) the ‘messianic ministry typology’ (the Antichrist versus the Christ, or the Messianic Parody), as described in Revelation 12-20.
At the same time, the author invites us to consider the revolutionary characteristics (also typological) suggested by the ministry of the ‘Angel of the Stone’ (Revelation 18:21-24) as a counterweight to the messianic pretensions of the Papacy, as observed in this provocative Vatican document: ‘For a reform of the international financial and monetary system in the perspective of a Public Authority with universal competence’ (October 2011). The pride of Babylon and its message of false hopes are countered by the sudden announcement of this mysterious ‘Angel’. His message and ministry can be better appreciated in the light of the work of that strange character (Yeshua ben Hananiah), whose woes shook the city of Jerusalem for 7 years in the decade of 60 AD, as described in the study: ‘Parallels with the end of the Apostolic Church in Jerusalem’. These topics and other studies are outlined in the ‘SAETA Series’ section, whose promotional videos are being published there, trusting that they will be appreciated.
The Angel of the stone and Parallels with the end of the Apostolic Church in Jerusalem are merged into one series to easy and fast access.
For now, the people of God, who hold high the banner of the 3rd Angel’s message, await the appearance of the so-called 4th Angel (the descent of the Holy Spirit with his Latter rain) which will strengthen the most sublime work ever entrusted to mortals: the diffusion of the warnings contained in the last message of mercy, the Three Angels’ message of Revelation 14.
